1968 - Dan Kightlinger Sr. and his wife Sis purchase a Chevrolet dealership ( then called Dan Kightlinger Chevrolet in Cochranton, PA).

1978 - Kightlinger Motors purchases a Coudersport dealership at the corner of Mill and East second street (formerly Robbins Chevrolet). Kightlinger's now carries Cadillacs, and Oldsmobiles, as well as Chevrolet Trucks... Sales skyrocket from 100 new vehicles to over 700 per year.. Over 150 used vehicles are always in stock...

1984 - Ford Mercury dealership opens and body shop is purchased on Route 6, just west of the borough.. 1992 - Kightlinger Motors merges GM and Ford dealerships.. Also renovate showrooms with capabilities of holding 12 vehicles for show.. Delivery bay is built to deliver cars inside..

1994 - Kightlinger Service Center is built behind sales building.. 21,600 square ft. with capabilities of working on thirty-two vehicles at a time... Kightlinger Motors becomes Adrian, Lund, and Drawtite accessory distributor..

1997 - Joe Kightlinger and Dan Kightlinger Jr. bought the dealership from Dan Kightlinger Sr. and continue the family tradition.. Kightlinger Motors becomes a Curtis snowplow distributor..

2013 - The Kightlinger Family continues to grow. A fully remodeled, state of the art showroom, features Chevrolet, GMC Kightlinger Motors also offers Rentals, a Full Service Garage and Body Shop.

2015 - Kightlinger Motors is excited to announce the expansion of their new Ford Showroom that resides adjacent to the General Motors Showroom.
